Review: Motorola Atrix 4G HD Multimedia Dock Accessories

The Motorola Atrix 4G Smartphone has a dual-core processor and runs the Android operating system on the AT&T 4G network.  But, it does come with some goodies, like the Atrix HD Multimedia Dock, for all you HD and HDTV geeks.  The Atrix a high resolution camera, and computer capabilities to run complete versions of Adobe Flash, Firefox, and many PC applications. And one more thing…all those movies downloaded on the phone are playable via HD Multimedia Dock for viewing on a big screen HDTV.

The Motorola HD Multimedia Dock is an alternative to connect the Atrix 4G to and HDTV. This dock has three USB ports, HDMI port, and audio out. The Dock is sold separately. The Entertainment Access Kit is a better deal with the inclusion of a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, remote control, and the HD Multimedia Dock.

Plug the Atrix 4G into the Multimedia Dock and Motorola Entertainment Center launches automatically to guide the user to accessibility of Music, Pictures, Settings, Start Webtop, and Video on the Atrix 4G. The remote is simple to use to open a menu and make selections for viewing or listening pleasure. The Webtop interface, paired with the wireless mouse and keyboard, gives the user control of multimedia, email, mobile browser, and many other applications. The HDMI connection limits the Entertainment Dock output to 1280 x 720, so its best connected to less than 46-inch 1080p HDTV.

The Motorola Atrix 4G Smartphone and accessories will simplify the life of users with multiple devices or computers. No more syncing, no more multiple copies of files, photos, and music, and no more no or low battery because the phone battery is charging while docked in the laptop dock. No more lock out either, a biometric fingerprint reader is a built in feature, too.

Additional features of Atrix 4G includes:
-5-megapixel camera with LED flash
- Second VGA front-facing camera
- 720p video recording and HD video playback
- Android WebKit browser with Adobe Flash support
- WiFi
- Bluetooth 2.1
- Standard Google applications
